Coach/Instuctor criterium Can't Post

if I'm not mistaken you now need to hold a coaches rating for a full year before being eligible for any instrutors rating.. does anyone know where this is spelled out?.. IRM? SIMS? S&TA newsletter?
what? where?
thanks in advance.

You need to make 10 jumps as a coach with students to observe, and learn how they fly. You can find it spelled out on any Instructor Proficiency Card in the IRM.

There's no minimum time between coach and AFFI ratings so long as you have all the required jumps etc. I did my coach and AFF ratings in the same week.
