One thing I have seen begginer swoopers neglecting is learning to land crosswind. It is a very important skill to master. Crosswind landings are a lot different and more difficult to master but if practiced can help you out and with some practice can make for impressive landings. Also in high winds a crosswind landing will allow you a longer swoop as your not hitting the wind head on. Ive seen jimmy T land his canopy in 20 mph winds downwind and carve his canopy back into the wind. But other than that a crosswind landing might be all you can do if you find yourself in the corner and practice at it can save your ass. Ray
