any way to make the new messages within a thread be noted, or a way to hide the read messages? kindof annoying to try to figure out where you left off in the thread, sometimes having to go 4 and 5 pages in to see the new ones.

Hey - new messages are market as "new" and their icons are orange instead of yellow. I find the best way to track new messages is to set my "display preferences" (click on "edit profile" in the navigation bar) as below:
Default sort order: Descending date Default display mode: Threaded Mode Default view: Collapsed Threads Total parent posts to show per page: 25
Play around with these preferences a bit. You'll find something that works for you.
yeah, but the orange color is gone when i leave dropzone.com & come back later... it would be great if it would stay for "unread" messages instead of "new since last visit"
like cronistin said iwish it would do that to, i sometimes have to log off before i can read al the new messages and i come back and i can't tell what's been read by me before i logged off, i think the old site did this and i liked it!!!!
oh well though we can't have everything our way, it is still good like it is!!!

I agree with that, too. I'm always telling my husband... I can't go yet. I haven't finished reading all the posts and I won't know which ones I didn't get to if I leave now!
