hi,
i've tried to chane a text field + the picture in my profile, but no change seems to be done in my profile nor my details (in the forums)...

why is that?

Have you tried clearing out your cookies and cache?

I've seen cases where you can't see the changes, but everyone else can, because your computer has saved them.

No picture. Is it just the avatar picture you're trying to update, or is it other info as well?

I'm seeing a sig line of "Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Is it superman? No! It's me..."

And mini-profile shows:Jumps: 164
License: A 1139
In sport: 2 years

...

it's just the picture for now. the other text fields have been updated...

though it's really strange: there was a picture in my profile for a long time.
yesterday i tried to change it, and after seeing nothing has changed, i tryied to put the original picture back in the profile. as i told you yesterday - it didn't work. i thought that maybe there is cach thing on the website itself so i changed the name of the pic. still - it didn't work.
even today - when i'm trying to put one of those pics (10K and less, 65X75) it doesnt change... Frown

Yes, I've had the pic up and haven't tried to change it in a fair while.

I tried changing my avatar last night and it didn't take, but this morning, the new pic is up... strange.

Not really, that's a function of your web browser's cache. It caches images and data so it can display the information from the cache instead of downloading the "new" data each time. It makes your web browsing a bit quicker; however, it does sometimes cause problems such as you experienced.

In the future if you have a problem, try clearing your browser's cache. Smile

There's a built in timeout on post editing. If it's too old, the system won't let you change it.

I've had the same problem with changing my avatar

I upload the new pic and when I check the profile it's the same raven pic but squashed

I've cleaned my cashe, cookies, temps , everything

Have you tried hitting refresh on your screen? I see a picture of a woman, presumably you.
