AFF IE Requirements Can't Post
Does anyone know what the requirements are to obtain your AFF IE rating. I can't seem to get a good list of requirements. Also, once you have it, what are the currency requirements. How does the new AIC fit into the scenario (if at all). Thanks

Hay, in the IRM they have a section about I/E, and how to keep it current. If you go to USPA.org they have a downloadable proficience card. Then the downloadable application for the I/E. IF it is all good they gonna send you a test. In the 2005 IRM they show how the AIC fits in to it. Sorta like You have to have 500 AFF jumps and blah, blah, blah, or have 100 AFF jumps and compleated the AIC course. Something like that, I don't have a copy with me now.Wink

The I/E rating in its current form will no longer be issued as of Jan 01, 2006. So if you want it for nastalga, get busy.

The AIC has nothing to do with the current I/E rating.

Is there a new rating or are we going to have a massive amount of CD's for all ratings not just the IAD/SL?

Not sure yet. It is in the works. Ideas will be presented to the S&T Com in July.
