You flight into the San Juan International (SJU) airport. Flights to/from Puerto Rico are domestic flights, so you don't need a passport, just your regular picture ID. Local currency is the US dollar.
There is a page in the XtremeDivers web sites with a list of the hotels in the area. One is just 5 minutes from the DZ. Others are between 15 or 30 minutes from the DZ. All of them are on route #2, so it is a straight shot from the DZ. You can find the list at the Lodging page.
There are several car rental companies in the San Juan area. They have shuttle service from the airport. You'll find all the national companies like Avis, Hertz, Alamo, National and some locals like L&M and Charlie. Here is a list I found in the yellow pages SuperPagesPr.com

Hey guys!!!!
Yeah! Shacks is a great beach, right next to Jobos. Excellent for kite surfing, surfing and boogie boarding. Those of you who surf should definitely bring your boards (or rent one here) and reserve some time to hit the water.
Jeff, bring your board and let's catch some waves @ Jobos!!!

Definitely there! I went last year and it was the perfect skydiving vacation. Friendly people, beautiful scenery, great jumps, good parties, the list goes on. I wouldn't miss it for the world.

I will be there. I've almost got a couple of other Pathetic Losers from ISCtalked into flying down for a few days. I can't wait! My wife and my mother are also going, but they'll be taking tours and shopping while I jump It's possible that my mom, who's 77 may feel like doing a tandem ... hmmm ... maybe if she can get a Pink Mafia number

The welcoming party, that I have to check with dz management, don't know where it is (I have not asked either ....I'll check on that later today). We will be jumping the 13th the ENTIRE DAY and probably the 14th also...but that is tentative depending on how mega busy we will be during the weekend. For 2 years in a row we have extended the boogie a day for this reason.
