This has been briefly talked about in the past, but I think it should be brought up again.
Personally I think that the folks that post that are from gear manufactures should be marked some how. Possibly with something similar to the star, but different enough to be noticable.
Why?
Well, more then once someone asks a questions about specific gear, someone who works for the company responds, but it is lost in the noise.
It seems like it would help out posts in G&R, swooping, etc.
