Travelling to Perris - Need Help !

Hiya all......Lucky enough to be planning a trip out to Perris in October.. It needs to be on a budget.....everything is sorted ...except...getting to Perris Valley from LAX
Anybody got any idea what the nearest train station to Perris is ? or a rail route from LAX ( tried AMTRAK...no luck)
Also looked at a Greyhound Bus....anybody know where the Bus terminal is in LA

Sorry, I do not know where the bus terminal is in LA. Try asking a local. Once you get to the Greyhound bus station, take the bus to Riverside, then another bus headed for San Diego via Perris. The Greyhound bus will drop you in downtown Perris a couple of kilometers North of the DZ. A pleasant walk in daylight - when you are lightly loaded - but not wise after dark. The South end of Perris is a great place to meet drunks and crack whores and cholos! Hee! Hee! It is safer to phone manifest after the grey dog drops you off.
Another option is the commuter train, which will also drop you off in Riverside, but only in the late afternoon. The train station is only a few blocks from the Greyhound station, but probably too far to walk with heavy bags.
A final option is arranging for a local jumper to drive you from LAX to Perris, manifest may be able to help with this.
