I've noticed in several places lately (once in PM, several times in this thread that some long URL's are getting truncated, with a "..." inserted into the middle.

They still work when clicked on, but the whole URL is not shown, so if you cut and paste the URL into the top of a browser window, you end up with a 404 error.

Is this a bug or a feature?

Tom,

It's a feature. Not sure which browser you're on.... can you right click and "Copy Shortcut"?

I'm using Safari (Apples mac-only browswer). I just played with it in IE, too.

Right clicking (actually it's a control-click on the mac) to copy works just fine, though.

BTW... I like that feature. I don't feel so bad posting long ass URLs anymore. Smile
