1999 Javelin ?
Can't Post
Hey all,
Have the opportunity to buy a Nov 1999 manufactured javelin (TJN)
Can anyone tell me if there are major differences in a 1999 Javelin to a new one ? - Any modifications I should be aware of and checking on ? Can't find info about the differences on sunpaths website.
Thanks
Dave.

TNJ is a very small Javelin. It will hold a 135 reserve and a 150 main tight. Unless you are very small, this is not a good choice for a first container at all.
The only major differences is that Sunpath has tweeked the design a bit to offer better riser protection and new options like the cut-in laterals, new fabrics and other little things. Only change I'd be intersted in is the new leg strap hardware that it to be more anti-slip. I jump a '99 Jav and there is'nt a thing wrong with it.
My '99 Jav has a reserve flap that tucks in (I know.... I pack the reserve ) and a factory bridle flap. The tuck in came late '98 I think. Same with the main bridle flap.
