PD canopy flight

Hey all was wondering who has jumped the pd series of canopys.I have a falcon now but have just bought a pd 300 hoping that I'll get better openings The falcon can be brutal.I change the rubber band on every jump and the openings are usually ok but still crisp.I broke my neck in dec and had my c-7 vertabra replaced with hipbone.I will be able to resume jumping in a month or so and was wondering how the pd will open and how the flare will be on the bottom end.If any one has had a neck injury and knows any tricks let me know thanks.

Why did you buy a canopy (especially because of your injuries) without knowing how it flys and opens??
Bought it because the price was low i wont get hurt on it 190 jumps on it for 200.00 On e-bay lol.If it opens and flares well ill keep her if not ill sell her.
We use PD-300's as our student mains up here at the AF academy. The ones we have, have a "Positive" opening. We jump them quite a bit up here in Colorado. After they open they fly pretty good, as long as you are planning for the winds. You can catch some good lift with them and stay up for awhile if you know what youy are doing. I have stayed up for 25 minutes deploying at 3,500. I caught some good lift and climbed up to 4,700. I could have stayed up even longer, but my arms where getting tired.
You may get better openings if you are jumping down at sea level. The 300 isn't a bad canopy. With a little practice you can put it down anywhere. I would highly suggest rolling the nose when you pack it. I do the left and right 4 cels into the center cell and pull the slider way out in front of the nose. That seems to help out some.
