Paul Rafferty is one of the greatest RW Competitors in the world. He is a 5 time world champion in 8 way with the Golden Knights, who recently retired from the Army. He is one hell of a skydiver and a good friend as well, I heard he was last in Cross Keys, NJ. and I also am worried as to what has happened. I don't have any specifics and I won't say anything until I find out the facts. I hope it is not true, My prayers are with Paul and his family.
I would suggest that postings on this subject go on hold until the family decides to release current information. Thoughts and prayers would be in order, however.
I was there at CK today and was told that he received some rather severe burns in an accident last night not related to a skydive.
I dont know the extent of his burns or the nature of the accident other than they were not received on a skydive. The information I got indicated that he is alive.

This cast a somber pall over everything this weekend. Raff is the type of person who can meet you once and remember you months later. He helped Cora and I numerous times with advice and tips. Our thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family.
I have nothing to add that wasn't already in kturners post. Its all true, its sad and its not something you wanted to see. From the little I knew Raff, He is an awesome guy.
