Jumpship of the future: Three point tethered hydrogen balloon with a pulley. Winch on the ground.

Rube Goldberg would love it. FAA wouldnt like those tethers.

Impatient jumpers (who dont remember Twin Beech or DC 3 rides) wouldnt like the long climb time.

That's not a bad idea at all. Just plant an airship at 15k and hoist gondolas full of passengers to altitude.

Just wait for NASA to finish the Space Elevator.

If NASA takes it on I wouldn't hold my breath.

If it goes to private industry, maybe in the next 15 years.
