It's less than .5" off center from the center of the body point, so any mount with a recessed plate is going to allow for offsetting. you could also forego a QR and simply thumbscrew it to the shell, and drill that hole off center. I don't have a RAWA to measure, but surely the flat portion is wider than 2"? The centerpoint of the thread is at 1 3/16" so it's close enough to center, it should be a moot issue.
This will probably clear up how small/ easy this camera is to mount.
Whoa! It looks good. I think that a carbon fiber box is too clumsy for that small camera, so I made a sample of tight neoprene jacket. I'll post some pics when the final version is ready. If someone is interested, I may do few extra jackets. :)

I've gotta say, as much as I want the MC1 (by the way I thought that was coming out this month?) I think I'm just gonna get the cx100. Probably 1/3 the price and I don't have to deal with that long cable running down the helmet into the jump suit.

Havent figures that out yet....I have a cookie .5 from old camera, but want a good lense for the hd cam. Gonna talk to the video guru at my dz this weekend bout this. Any suggestions?! Dont want to ruin good hd footage with a crap lense
