Heard about this recently and did some search and no reports at all,FAA,NTSB and DZ.com? Just curious as to why, how, and what happened exactly?

You mean in 1997?

Here's the final NTSB report

http://dms.ntsb.gov/.../K11102012120000.pdf

(short summary: ferry flight, ran out of fuel).

The web site claims that information is now dynamically generated; if the link doesn't work searching for a twin-engine airplane crash 1995-2000 in Longmont, CO will do the trick.

If there's been a more recent crash I'm not aware of it.

That registration number is N76GM.
Current a/c are N66GS, and N500MS.
Was that a rental prior to Jeff buying his own?
