Re: [yardhippie] newbie checking in; question about 1 cheap DZ
Thanks everyone! I'm sure I will lurk here alot trying to learn and absorb info.
Right now, I'm pretty much looking for a cheap way to get started. Who knows, I might not even like it, though I have that "feeling" that I will love it. :)
kydiver4u2: Army base in tennesse sounds right... I think I even found that DZ on this site. I'll probably end up looking through all military DZ in TN region to find it.
sarge, that sounds pretty sweet. I'm sure you'll love it. I hear that penske really helps on R1 and 208s are very confidence inspiring. :) BTW, you should check out r1-forum.com if you don't know about it.
I actually have an Ohlins prxls and scotts damper at home waiting to be installed and a 520 chain conversion on the way. I can't wait for better riding weather.
yardhippie: hahaha... yeah, but I need to keep my bike. When I'm not tearing up the road on the weekends, the bike serves as my commute vehicle.(I have no car... hahaha..) It's definately a faster and a more enjoyable way to get to work each day.
