I recall once seeing a plot on Barry Brumitt's site of fatality rate against year for around 25 - 30 years. I thought maybe I imagined it so I searched the archives, and found it is referenced in this post:
Unfortunately that site no longer exists except as advertizing. Does anyone know if the data are still accessible anywhere? The DZ.com database doesn't have it, neither (as far as I can see) does cpoxon's site.
