I've made an upgrade to the Dropzone Mail application. There are a lot of bug fixes included but I'm listing only some of the changes that you may see. Also, take a quick look at the attachment on this post for a few call-outs.
The changes include:
Template changes and improvements
Email limit increased from 2MB to 3MB
Disk Usage graphic added
Detailed "Help" option added to all pages
Added ability to set image properties with Advanced Editor
Much improved attachment handling
Allow user to not display external images in HTML emails
Display background images in HTML emails
The length of "Subject", "To" and "From" fields displayed in message lists can be limited.
Upgraded to new HTML editor
Folders can now be nested and allow collapsible nested folders.
Added Forward as Attachment option. If this option is turned off, then a "Fwd as Attach" button will be displayed
Alert the user when sending an email without uploading the attachment
Add mark all messages in folder as read/unread
Users can now save drafts.
Email profiles allow users to select a profile (with specific names, signatures and addresses) when sending emails.
Address book groups have been added.
Multiple addresses may now be simultaneously selected and/or displayed.
Filters now support "Starts with" and "Ends with".
Remote POP3 accounts now support SSL connections.
The HTML editor now allows users to enter a URL in the image location field.
In the near future I will add additional services and features that will be based on a payment system. The basic service will remain free. I do not have a estimated time yet on when this will kick-off but it is what I am working on next. Additional options will include:
POP3 Access - Check email in Outlook Express etc
Email Forwarding - send your Dropzone.com email to another account
Additional disk space
Additional POP3 account check
Max attachment size increase
More.....
If you see any issues with the new templates or installation please drop a post in the Error and Bug Reports forum. Remember to include as much information as possible. (OS and Browser, error message, screen shot etc)
Enjoy the changes and feel free to send me your feedback!
