What a blast!

I am very happy I chose start skydiving to have my first jump. Everyone was very friendly and professional. We did not have to wait around at all. We also had the privelage of using the rear dump plane we were able to walk off of. The back flip was amazing! Will always recommend them for anyone wanting to go. Cheers!

It was probably the coolest thing I have ever done. Everyone is super nice and willing to help you with any questions you have. They make sure you know everything that is going on before you jump and while you jump. Super Awesome. I will return. My skydiver was Pags and he is super nice and professional.

BEST TIME OF MY LIFE!

This was my first skydiving experience and the most exhilarating experience in my life. I drove from Columbus because after reading reviews, this was the number one place to do it. Upon entering, the staff was extremely down to earth, everyone was so welcoming and hospitality was within all of the staff. Gila was awesome. He was very thorough at explaining what was going to happen to me, repeating, and just making me feel comfortable. He was hilarious too, and really took the edge off all the nervous/excited/anxious energy I was feeling. I wish the facility had more to do while killing time, we arrived about 3, and didn't jump until 7! (due to gusty winds) but everyone was nice and I got to know the instructors/staff just because we were all stuck on the ground :) I'd do it again in a heartbeat. You have to get a video!

Gila, my lead jumper was absolutely amazing. He was professional, told me what to do, made sure I was comfortable, but also made sure I had a great time. If it is your first time I highly suggest asking for him!

Gila (Scott) was great. He's a cool guy who is really good at informing you of what to expect and is very helpful along the way. He made the experience way better. Cory (my videographer/photographer) did a perfect job of staying in front and close to me when in the air, allowing him to get good video and photos. Cory's cool and easy to get along with. Both these guys added to my experience and were fun to hang out with.

I did a tandem jump with Lonnie, it was the best experience of my life! Everyone at start skydiving was very laid back and professional. My buddy and I scheduled our jump went the next day and was greeted by a very fun professional group of people who are enthusiastic about their job. They took us into the hanger after manifesting and it wasn't busy so Lonnie and Gila talked to us before our jump. It made me so much less nervous. Lonnie even continued on the ride up and we jumped and had a BLAST! Thanks Guys!

This was my fifth time skydiving. I had Jonny Stewart as an instructor this time as well as my previous visit.

He is the best tandem jumper you can ask for.

Went for my 35th birthday. Everything was great. Camera lady had a bit of an attitude but monkeylip or John was awesome.

The people working there make the difference!!

My boyfriend surprised me w/ this as a birthday present and although I was very nervous/anxious about the whole experience, the staff there made me feel really at ease with what I was about to do.

The only other experience I can kind of compare to this to would be when I jumped off the Stratosphere in Vegas a year prior. Although it was a very awesome experience, their staff was not very knowledgeable (most people working there had not ever jumped themselves) and were not very personable (same person asked me 3x in a matter of minutes what city I was from etc). Startskydiving was by far the opposite. Everyone was really friendly and their laid back yet professional attitude really helped calm my nerves. We did a tandem jump and even though our instructors (my instructor was Lonnie Kirk) had been doing this for multiple years, they didn't seem jaded by it whatsoever.

I would most definitely recommend this place to anyone considering skydiving!!

All of the people at Start Skydiving were so freaking helpful. Even though there was a glitch in their computer system they decided to call in crew to let me surprise my girlfriend for her birthday. Monkey Lip did a great job easing my girlfriend into the idea while we prepared on the ground. You can tell just how much fun the group has by the way they interact with and trust one another. I only wish I lived closer so I could do it more often.
