After going to Eloy and experiencing the summer down-time, we decided to check out Desert Skydiving Center. It did not disappoint! I had such an incredible time! I'm not used to having whole loads put up just for us, and the staff were friendly and seemed to really appreciate fun-jumpers. Great landing area and beautiful scenery. Even enjoyed a beer with the crew afterwards. Would totally recommend to anyone going to Arizona in the near future :)

After a somewhat disappointing time at Eloy we stumbled across this little gem whilst staying in Phoenix.

The staff were incredibly friendly and approachable and were more than happy to help out the entire time we were there.

Even though there were hardly any tandem students around, it was no problem putting lifts up for us.

Desert skydive is a great place to hang out and have fun, I just wish it wasn't so far away.

Went with the GF to Arizona while she was at a conference and initially went to 'another' large dropzone in the area. Left after being made to feel unwelcome and giving up trying to break into the cliques.

Went to Desert Skydiving Centre in Buckeye and immediately was made to feel welcome. Gary / Mike and the rest of the guys (and girl ;) went out of their way to get us in the air as many times as possible. We even ended up going out with the guys in Phoenix after sunset and had a blast then too.

Would never go back to the 'other' place, and would recommend Desert skydiving Centre in a heartbeat. We're even planning a trip back to Az later this year just to jump here again.

Gary and crew at Desert Skydive Center are extremely frindly and fun, while maintaining professionalism and safety. We were on a flying road trip visiting dropzones along the way and ran across them at Buckeye. Conveniently located and easy to find, they offer Tandem w/ video, Static Line, AFF, & make sure to take good care of 'upjumpers'. With multiple planes available there is never a long wait. I suggest using their packers as they do a great job and help make hot turns possible. Very relaxing with fire pit and qrills, also has wonderfull relaxing area with outdoor living room feel. They even have a massage table

If you want a place to have fun and skydive, then you need to go and see the staff,and the D.Z.O are really a neat bunch of people with out the sky god attitude (don't waste your time at eloy when you walk in there no one speaks till you by a lift ticket then everyone says good morning)

What a great DZ to visit!! This place felt just like being at home, a welcome change after time spent at a larger DZ in the area who shall remain unnamned. Everyone was very friendly, very helpful and took safety seriously. Their pilot was great and their coaches were knowledgable. Great video for tandems, great stills for posterity. Very open and accomodating and an all around great place to jump. Not a lot in the area for amenities, but they have their own bunkhouse and a great fire pit for socializing so a good time is had by all. Make your way out if you can!!

i jumped at a few different dropzones.. Duanesberg DZ in NY.. Skydive Az Eloy, coolidge.. and DSC... DSC is my favorite.. everything about it.. the whole learning experience.. the instructors are great.. the owner Gary is cool, and funny as hell on that loudspeaker!!! the whole friendly vibe... Ive bought so many people out there for there 1st jumps.. and will continue to do so.. Ill see you guys soon.

I really enjoyed this dropzone, from the time we arrived, the staff and other jumper's were very repectful and helpful. Ruben introduced us to everyone and Kevin was there to get us through the waiver and gear check stage. They were thorough explaining DZ proticol, as in landing patterns, safe outs and the BEER LINE! Packing was a little tight inside the hangar cause alot of folks were there to welcome back the Caravan. I was having problems, over the shoulder pro-packing, til Freek helped me figure it out. Thanks again, Bro! If you're going to stay for the day or the weekend, bring a cooler full of food and drinks, cause the nearest spot is miles away. Whether you live local or are from out-of-state, everyone is family at the Desert Skydiving Center. C-ya soon!

Went on a long weekend to AZ for jumping, wish we would have checked this DZ out sooner, great place to hang out,and jump,they took us in just like we were regulars, would go and spend whole next vaca there:)
