Great people of the sky
Rated by: TomCraighead on 2004-02-18 (user profile) (user reviews)

Review of: Olympic Skydivers Association
  Pros: Safety first
Cons: none

Although I reside in Lubbock, Texas ... I know the folks at Olympic personally. They are responsible and fun people that enjoy freefall in the sky, as they make you feel right at home the first time you meet them. Don't expect large airplanes, but I know you will enjoy the visit.

The Secret DZ of the Northwest

Review of: Olympic Skydivers Association
Pros: Awesome View, Great Locals to jump with
Cons: Can't land at the airport

Got in touch with O.S.A through a friend of a friend. I was told not to expect a lot of jumps in a day, and they may or may not be jumping on the day that I want.
This is a private club on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state. The c-182 is privately owned by a Port Angeles businessman/jumper/pilot. When he has time he calls a few friends and they get together for some fun, breathtaking scenic jumps. One of the other jumpers from Chimicum is also a pilot, and they trade of piloting duties so that each other may jump. You have got to check this place out. Sometimes the landing area is in Sequim and sometimes in Chimicum. There are vehicles available to transport to the packing area and then the airport. I know it sounds like a lot of hassle, but up here it is not quantity of jumps just pure quality in scenery and friends.
Thanks
Lynn, Frank, Deb, and Barb
