I felt right at home here. Urban, the owner, was friendly and professional. I received some good info and training for my "A" license. I was able to get on a load right away, and made two jumps in about three hours (not bad for Oregon). It was worth the drive down from Portland!

I am hooked! I had an awesome experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Laid back atmosphere, very calming. The video I received was incredible. I have watched it many times since. Special thanks to both Kim and Whitney. Highly recommend Eugene skydivers.

This place has a nice group of experienced skydivers who like to have alot of fun.The landing area is good and a C-208 is not uncommon on weekends.Like all northwest skydivers, the food of choice is microbrew.Visit and make some new friends.

Eugene Skydivers is the bomb. The people that work/skydive there are such awesome people. It is fun just hanging out there even if you end up not jumping.
My 11 year old daughter loves going to Eugene Skydivers, she likes to hang out with the rigger Kevin S.
Urban and Whitney you ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pros:
People are cool and just wanna have fun...
Cons:
Next to WBS and there is no hot tub:(
Urban, Whit and Kevin are hella cool. So is everyone else that works there and jumps there. It's the perfect place for all experienced jumpers as well as people looking to just get started. Everyone should come to the Boogie July 24th!! It's gonna be a trip.

Pros:
Everyone at the drop zone livin the dream!!!
Cons:
The cow pasture smell in the morning :)
I've never felt more at home. Sure you have to take a shower from a hose, but if your there for the right reasons, this place is all you could ever ask for and I am never worried about my safety there. You couldn't ask for a friendlier bunch of skydivers who actually know what they are doing. Highly recommended!!

Review of:
Eugene Skydivers
Pros:
Friendly, professional, efficient, good value ... the list goes on and on ...
Cons:
No hydro-spa or multiplex movie centre on the drop zone - how outrageous!!
My friend and I are from the UK. I completed my AFF sometime ago but was not current and my friend was interested in doing his AFF course. We found Eugene Skydivers through dropzone.com and decided to go there cause the location was good for us at the time and they sounded really friendly on the phone.
I have been to dropzones in at least 5 different countries and I can honestly say that Eugene is one of the most relaxed, friendly and least pretentious places I've ever jumped. Urban took my mate through his AFF course and was an excellent teacher. He was laid back but still explained everything really well - so my much so that my (rather nervous) friend actually managed to get himself out of the plane on his first jump (I wasn't sure he really had the balls for it)!!
I really can't say enough good things about this drop zone. All the guys working there were generous with their time, experience and facilities. We had great weather for the 3 days we were there and were able and encouraged to jump as much as we wanted to, there were always pilots and jumpmasters available.
Also it's really cheap, especially compared to a lot of other drop zones in the US. It may not have a pool, bar, shop, hot tub, movie theatre, theme park and all the other things that seem to be mandatory at drop zones these days ... but as a result it doesn't have inflated prices .. and after all, surely you're going there to skydive - something they're pretty good at organising!!
If you want to learn to skydive or just want to go and jump in a place where you will be treated with kindness, respect and generosity, whether you have 5 jumps or 5000, then I couldn't recommend anywhere more highly than Eugene Skydivers.

Eugene Skydivers
Pros:
Urban, Whiney, Jenn, Kevin...the entire gang!
Cons:
Gooch won't let me drive....sniff, sniff....
Imagine the surprise of visiting a Drop Zone for the first time, and being greeted by a barking, fatigue clad woman wearing foliage on her head...now, granted, some men like a woman with a nice "bush." But this particular vision of femininity was atop a picnic table appearing for all the world like some lost footage from Kubric's "Full Metal Jacket." Thus was my first encounter with the ever entertaining Whitney .
As the subject line indicates, this was a "Theme Boogie" with all sorts of competitive events, (rigged in Whitney's favor, I'm sure) from accuracy, or lack of. Shooting, knife throwing (Whitney and Urban must practice theses skills on each other) grenades, and how quickly one can doff and stash their gear under a bush...(not George, a real bush) after landing in a farm field surrounded by enemy troops, who, by the way were cleverly disguised as migrant strawberry pickers.
Other events were the HALO jumps, we aren't talking any pansy High Altitude Low Openings here! As anyone with a gas powered blender would know, it's the Horny Ape Launch Out! Now we all know why the Beagle Boogie Boys spend so much time at the Zoo! Hmmm, is this a good spot to plug Astro-Glide?
If you missed it, I'm sorry...it was a total blast! Like I said before, I was a complete stranger to everyone there, (except maybe Urban, I think he's stranger than I am) and was made to feel very welcome. Whitney even took the time to look into my eyes, and from beneath that rain forest on her head, spoke these inspiring words to me:
"Make a hole Maggot, coming through"!
I'll always cherish that moment, we two had shared.
Take the trip to Eugene, you won't regret it...MAGGOTS!

Eugene Skydivers
Pros:
Friendly, great atmosphere, and a great martini.
Cons:
You have to go across the street to take a shower.
If you are in the area you have got to stop by and make a jump. I have been to a lot of different drop zones and this place has got to the best.

Eugene Skydivers
Pros:
Awesome people, great learning environment, great place
Cons:
nothing
I love this place. I came to Eugen skydivers because it was the closest dz to my school (osu). I showed up with about 45 jumps to my name and have since added 80 jumps being here, all have been memorabile(sp) and very educational. These guys will help you out on every aspect of your skills from exits, to Freefly and RW, to canopy skills. They have a wide range of people knowledgable in all areas which is great for people trying to learn as much as possible. This is also one of the safest dropzones that I've been at which should be valued by everyone. Overall, this dropzone is very tough to beat. Thanks guys and oh yea during the summer they have a caravan every weekend so now it really kicks ass.
