Tri-State is the most welcoming bend-over-backwards to make you happy DZ I've been to.

There isn't much that wasn't already covered by the other reviewers. It doesn't surprise me at all that I'm not the only one who loves this place. I left feeling like my family had grown by a couple dozen people overnight. If you have the big DZ, tandem-factory blues, this DZ will make you realize why being a skydiver is so special again. Thanks for everything Larry and keep up the good work!

Review of: Tri-State Skydivers
Pros: The DZO (Larry Lemaster) is very friendly and knowledgable. AWESOME VIBE, the staff are very safety concious, excellent
Cons: Being objective, the only thing I can think of is that the indoor pack area is a bit small but that's it.

This dropzone is absolutely amazing and I can't wait to go back. I only wish they were here in Florida but it gives me a serious reason to move back to Ohio now. The DZO and staff are more then friendly with new faces and are extremely concious about safety. The DZ runway and landing areas run parallel to the Ohio river. It makes the scenery amazing. It's the only dropzone where you can make all three states in one skydive. Turn left and you're in Kentucky, turn left again and you're in West Virginia, turn left again and you're back in Ohio!!!! The local jumpers are super nice and always there to help out with visitors. There are no turbines (yet) but they do have two C-182's that are in absolute mint condition and well taken care of. They can run both plane at the same time for a larger group of fun jumpers. The packing areas are either under the tent outside or in the hanger by the lounge area. They sell GO FAST on site which is a major plus. I've been trying to get Deland to do that for a year now. LOL! The load organizing is easy and they offer rigging services as well. For being a smaller dropzone, they run just as well as Deland if not better. No chaos at this place..... just pure relaxing fun!!!!!

If you live any where near South Point, OH (whether it be Kentucky or West Virginia) I would suggest you come support your local dropzone at Tri-State. A dropzone running this well at their size has the potential to expand into something even greater with the kind of DZO and people they have.

Blue Skies Tri-State!!! I can't wait to come back!

Went last weekend at 35 jumps and a new canopy. They did the proper safety checks and were very organized. No cliques, just people that like to jump and have a good, safe time with anyone. A local wuffo even brought pizza!

I went to visit and jump with a friend. The DZ was small & friendly, they welcomed me in and I had a great time. Lot's of friendly folks to jump with. OK now the downside, the aircraft C-182. But they have 2 of them and they actually used them both, so it more than made up for it! All in all if you are in the area go check it out, it's worth it!

Review of: Tri-State Skydivers
Pros: Great people, hospitality, truck parking(18wheeler), and location.
Cons: None found.

Being a trucker location and access ia everything and these folks have it for me. I found these folks to be very friendly and full of great vibes. The DZ is small, quiet and cozy, planes, packing area and a portapotty nothing special just the basics for making fun jumps! Added West Virginia to my roster of states jumped (no established DZ's) with a very exciting jump into a local park bringing me to 39states and 68DZ's!
Highly reccomend you stop and make some jumps here these people rock!

Review of: Tri-State Skydivers
  Pros: Great people, location
Cons: -

I went to Tri-State for a coach's course with a couple of my club members. We had a great time, they brought in a great instructor (Rastas!) and they were amazingly hospitious. Track into WV and back into OH at Tri-State skydivers, right on the Ohio River.

This place rocks if your looking for nice, friendly people that go out of their way to take care of you. The 2 182's mean a short turn around time between loads. Interesting landing area, but a great quiet, hidden DZ.
