The people are great. From the air you get great views of the Blue Ridge. This is a very good place to call home.

A small DZ...but with the best people I've met in a long time. Excellent staff, very friendly regulars.

Whether you are a newbie or an experienced skydiver, give Skydive Virginia a try, you won't regret it. It's the place to go, whether you are passing through or looking for a new home DZ.

For someone looking for true professionalism and a fun, accepting atmosphere, this is THE dropzone.

Skydive Virginia is a smaller sized drop zone, but you will find a friendly, almost family like feel here, you may not find at the bigger DZs. The people are what make this DZ great. There is a good mix of RW and Freefliers, experienced and low timers. You will not find the 'holier than thou' attitude here, nor will you find skygod's on their high horse. There are no cliques, and there is no division according to discipline (freefliers and bellyfliers unite) Everyone here is happy to play and mix it up. The atmosphere is very laid back and will make any newcomer feel right at home. :-)

Skydive Virginia is in the process of moving it's facilities across the airport. This should be complete in early 2004 and will make this place even more kick ass.

Less than 2 hours from DC, just over an hour from Richmond, and less than an hour from Charlottesville. Excellent location for Northern / Central VA and DC.

If you are an experienced skydiver looking for a new DZ, this is the place to go. There's a good mix of freefliers and RW people. The regulars are quick to say hi and include newcomers in their jumps.

If you are a student looking to make a tandem or aff jump, our teaching staff is incredible!

The night life is great when we're at the DZ, but even more the regulars are get together when away from the DZ too.

Once the new site gets finished, Skydive Virginia will be even better!
