This place is only concerned with getting their $$$! When you don't get what you pay for, don't be surprised! Don't EVEN think about anyone on the staff trying to make you a "satisfied customer" either. They DO NOT care! If you plan to pay the extra $ 99 for the video and still shots to commemorate your awesome experience, be prepared to get screwed!

I recommend this place highly for anyone curious about skydiving. I went twice and just got to know staff and watched the skydivers land. The staff was always friendly and professional and big on safety and Todd the DZO is a great guy. I did my first tandem 11/22/08 and im going to be going back for my AFF! Cant keep my mind off this place.

My wife and I went to Skydive Houston for our first time for the Deadman Boogie. Talk about one hell of a good time. Excellent Staff! DZO Todd very friendly, introduced himself. Very friendly funjumper DZ. Nice Twin Otter. Nice landing area, ample outs. great place to party after hours. If I wasn't so committed to working at the DZ that I do in Austin, I'd be there!

Two tandem jumps and 1 AFF jump here, and I cannot say anything bad about the place. Everyone is so nice. They empahasize safety to the utmost degree and, secondly, fun. Skydive Houston provides an environment where all are welcome. It's cool jumping out of planes, but it's even better when you are jumping with people you like.

Learned to jump here. Was very pleased with the respect and the help Ive gotten from this dropzone. Kinda tough to get license in spring with the weather and such. Plane is super fast to 13K plus. Just an awesome atmosphere, lots of instructors! Great place and onsite rigger.

I've talked about wanting to do this for awhile, and my wife surprised me with this for my birthday (little does she know she's got me hooked)!

My first tandem jump was with Dennis (handlebar mustache), and he was excellent. I went in for the video to commemorate it, and EZ was my videographer (excellent - I was always in-frame during my descent).

Really, really laid-back staff, didn't make a first-timer like me feel at all like a newbie. Will definitely do this again, and with this DZ.

I spent one weekend here and it was awesome.

Great indoor packing area. There was a cafe, but at the time I visited it was closed.

I did my very first tandem jump at Skydive Houston over the summer with a few of my friends. It was an amazing experience. The staff was very friendly, as were the other jumpers just hanging out. We were on a rain delay in the morning, and they were nice enough to give us all lunch while we were waiting. I had a video made, which was a amazing quality DVD and came with great still as well. All of our instructors were extremely nice and made us feel very comfortable. It was a fun place to be, and I would definitely go back if I ever decide to jump again.

I have to start off by saying that I was there when the weather was bad and not much was going on. With that said this is my impression.

The good: Large landing area, Super Otter and indoor packing and the lady working the counter was very nice.

The bad: The weather can be a problem there. The people that were there when I was seemed a little cliqueish, they weren't very friendly but they also weren't unfriendly.

The ugly: In my opninion a little too far away to consider being in Houston still. I wasn't sure I was still in Texas. Two guys got into a fight over a dog while I was there.

Overall: The jury is still out on this place, I was there on a weird day so I'm taking everything with a grain of salt. I did enjoy myself though.

Had a great weekend at Skydive Houston - made AFF1-7 over the weekend.

The overall vibe of the place was great - everyone made me feel welcome. It was like coming home to family I hadn't met yet.

The instructors and staff were friendly and welcoming. Every question I had was answered quickly and fully.

The only bad parts about the weekend were the wind holds - a couple of days I ended up having to wait until sunset load for the winds to die down.

This place is definitely going to be my home DZ - I can't wait to go back!
