On July 18th I started phase I of the Accelerated Free Fall Course at Keystone Skydive Center and was blown away. The instructors were exciting to be around and were extremely knowledgable. The experience overall was just fantastic. The whole staff made me feel like I was part of the skydiving family and did not just treat me as a paycheck or a number as I have experienced with other skydive centers in the area. Prices are modest and you WILL enjoy yourself.

Pros: Great new location, Wonderful vibe
Cons: 182 (although this isn't really a con)

KSC is the new home of Kutztown Skydiving Center, since Kutztown Airport closed in Jan 2009. KSC now has a much better location, close to Philly and Reading areas. There is a DZ building complete with shower and restrooms now, so weekend camping is strongly encouraged.

This is a great DZ to learn to skydive as all of the instructors work hard to personalize the programs to the needs and interests of the students they work with. It's a very welcoming environment and everyone is in constant 'learning mode', even the instructors focus on learning new skills and disciplines while perfecting old ones.

The 182 flies all day, and busy weekends occasionally 2 cessnas are flying. Jumpers work together in order to ensure the day flows smoothly and everyone gets to jump.
