I had my first tandem jump on 10/24, it went great. My instructor, Jason, did a great job of making the trip fun and safe. Definitely looking into doing AFF in the future with them.

I took my brother here for his birthday on a recommendation from a friend that had recently did a tandem jump, lets just say that I had a incredible time, Jason was my jump man super cool guy, but the only problem was that I had so much fun that I am now signing up for the AFF classes. I would most certainly recommend these guys...

I just started learning to skydive, and Gold Coast Skydivers got all the help I needed to learn the basics, and the finer points. Everyone around the DZ is friendly and more than willing to lend a helping hand. I enjoyed my first jump , and have continued my jumping career because of the atmosphere at Gold Coast Skydivers.

I was very impressed with Gold Coast facility and staff. Everyone seemed happy and excited to be there. The laid back family atmosphere immediately put me at ease.
For all appearances this was going to be my first and only tandem jump, just something this older lady wanted to mark off her bucket list! But these folks treated me like I was just as important as the competition jumpers practicing landings that day.
I felt so confident with the abilities and safety consciousness of the staff that I never gave it a second thought, sheer pleasure and enjoyment from suiting up to the perfect landing. My instructor and tandem jumper, Martin, was a jewel, very calming and reassuring as he talked me through everything that was happening and going to happen. He truly enjoys what he is doing and his enthusiasm made my experience even better. It will be a long time before I come down from this high. Wow! Andre, my video guy was amazing! He “hung out” with us for about 60 seconds during free fall and took some awesome pictures. The cost was extra but well worth it. Believe me, you’ll want the proof!
I was so thrilled and exhilarated by the whole experience that I’m now thinking of training for a solo jump!
Glad my first jump was with such a top notch facility. No need to go anywhere else!

This was my first jump ever. Although I am not an experienced skydiver I do know what customer service is and this staff has it down-pack. Everyone did an excellent job from answering my questions over the phone to hand delivering my video and pictures on DVD. The place was a breeze to find, the instructions were easy to follow, the guys I jumped with were fun and exciting (Paul & JC), and I love my DVD and pictures. Great work Gold Cost Skydivers and Thanks! I will see you again soon...

My mom, sister, and I all jumped for the first time a few months ago. We are still telling EVERYONE how awesome it was. We have watched the videos over and over, and they never get old! The staff was extremely professional and friendly. They made us feel like we were really part of their family. They did a fantastic job of making us feel safe and excited! All three of our instructors and videographers were amazing. I'm very afraid of heights, but Rob made me feel like it was just another walk in the park. It was so much fun, and I can't wait to go back and jump again...soon!

I have wanted to sky dive forever and the ratings of Gold Coast, which is near our New Orleans home, sounded great. My instructor, Jason, was incredible, fed off of my excited vibe, and made my trip memorable. The videographers (both my husband and I were recorded--he had JC and I had Andre) were great and provided us with videos and pictures we'll treasure forever. Even though my husband hates heights, he was confident to jump after the training and watching others jump. The folks hanging around (students, packers, family of jumpers, etc.) were so friendly and though the place was busy it was well run, open, and everyone was smiling and friendly. Highly recommend! We'll both return to take the student course and jump again!

It was far beyond anything I could have expected. The staff was knowlegeable, helpful, cheerful, encouraging, and exciting. The aircraft was large, exciting, dependable, and climbs fast. Facilities was clean, spacious, and has everything you could need. Huge landing zone and tons of open pastures for the misjudged landings. Coaches are fun and highly skilled. Location is far from home but I would gladly drive from Lafayette to dive anyday.

Awesome! That is all I can think when I look back on my experience. Everything about GCS is top notch. From the moment we arrived, the staff kept the atmosphere very light, but very professional. The staff did a great job of calming the nerves before we went up in the plane. My instructor, Jason, was very professional and I did not feel nervous at all. Everyone in my group felt the same way.

I also recommend buying the video package. JC did a great job with the pictures and the video.

After being rained out on our first attempt, my wife and I finally made it down to GCS for our first jumps on July 25th, my birthday. :) The entire staff was knowledgeable and helpful ... everyone from Leanne behind the desk, to the instructors, to the videographers. Very professional and personable.

Despite what first looked like chaos to me as a newb, they kept everything flowing and certainly knew what they were doing and when to do it.

A big 'Thanks!' to Rob and Andre, my instructor and videographer, for a great first encounter with your addiction! We hope to see you guys again and will certainly be sending our friends your way.
