After taking the advice of a friend, I gave these guys a call. I expected to get put on the back burner as I did a the Adventure palce in Atlanta, but instead, I was greeted with a warm welcome and was treated like an old friend. The training was very thorough and understandable. yea, maybe they could use a bigger airplane, but their Cessna did just fine. I've made a couple of jump at bigger skydive centers before coming to Nashville Skydiving and I must say, these guys will not treat anyone like they are just another number.
They also made my family just as welcome as they made me feel. You guys are great!

I finally found a place to skydive that is close to Nashville! I was delighted to hear that they are only about 45 minutes north of Nashville, just it says on their website. They were very friendly and they got me really hooked on skydiving. I can't wait for my next jump!

After navigating through the maze of BS Skyride websites, I found the Real and Original "Nashville Skydiving". I was delighted to learn that they animate about not doing business with Skyride.
These guys are really nice and scheduling was a breeze. My Birthday was on a Tuesday, Jeff got me booked right in and Harry was there waiting for me and even already had the airplane out and ready to go. We went up, made our jump and Scheduled the second jump. It was the most awesome experience! We wanted to go ahead and do it that day, but it was getting dark, so we scheduled it for the Thursday after, and the same thing again, They were there waiting for me. This place is awesome and they know their stuff! They will be here for a long time to come.I got screwed by Skyride in Atlanta, but now that I know where the real "Nashville Skydiving" is, I now call this place "Home".
Keep up the great work Harry, Randy and Jeff!

Great place for those who want to learn without the pressure of those more commercialized DZ's. Staff is friendly and they want you to learn at your pace. That's what I looked for when I picked up skydiving and I found it here! There is plenty of landing area(s)with no more then 4 or 5 jumpers out at one time. Con: There are those that want to jump out of those big & fast aircraft so they can jump 10 times in a day. Not the case here. The C-182 is sufficient enough for 4 jumpers up to 10,000 ft. That aside, I can't not tell you how much I appreciate the staff and what I've learned.

being new at 25 jumps I was nervous! but before I jumped I was all to comfortable. a great staff for sure! I made two exellent jumps and had plenty of room to land, plus great openings on the gear " love to see more jumpers! The more jumpers means the more times I get to jump. i have sent friends to jump and they love it. they are not as commercial as some of the DZ's i have been too, but professionalism is an important thing!! "Especially Saftey!"

Used this place for several tandems for family members and the price continued to increase every time, there is no Beech 18 and I am forced to agree with cherryjumper, the owner put out a letter stating no up jumpers at his business so it is confusing as to why they have a new post advertising a plane they do not have and promoting an interest in up jumpers. Russellville, KY is an hour away from Nashville and it is out of the way. Its too long to drive to, just to find out they have no Beech 18 or a real interest in up jumpers. Local up jumpers do not go to this place to jump. If you can get the owner to commit to one price for a tandem he does give a safe tandem and tandem is all he wants to do. I have waited all day to make one skydive while the empahsis went to the tandems.

Friendly and Knowledgable staff. Great tandem program. Great location, 5 minutes from Russellville and 15 minutes from Franklin. Being less than 1 hour from Nashville makes it a great location for tourists to visit and enjoy a tandem or just to watch the skydivers do what they do best. They have a nice pair of planes to jump out of, and the Beech 18 has a really nice big door to exit from. The landing area is easy to spot from under canopy and the accuracy pit is soo soft. If you should have a boo boo and land off of the landing area or even off the airport, someone will come in a car or a truck to get you. Sitting on the deck and hanging out just to unwind was really nice after a hard day of jumping. This DZ has a bright future!!!!!
