Malaysia will host the inaugural Malaysia International Skydiving Festival, Langkawi Boogie 2013. The event is part of Tourism Malaysia's calendar of events for Visit Malaysia Campaign. The Festival will first host a 56-way formation skydive & a 20-way Canopy formation record attempt to celebrate Malaysia's 56th Independence day. Invitations will be opened to eligible skydivers. The Event Boogie will follow after the record attempts have been completed. All skydives will be made from the Royal Malaysian Airforce's C130H transport airplane. Exit heights shall be between 13,000-15,000 feet for the Boogie and 18,000 feet for the record attempts. The Event will showcase, Malaysia's hospitality and its Spirit of Adventure.
