How does the new block ads work?

We will sell a maximum of three block ads for every section mentioned above. Ads will be displayed in that section in the order that they are purchased from top to bottom. First come first served. If someone higher up stops buying advertising the ads lower will move up into the "higher" slots. You retain your top slot for as long as you keep advertising, and move up every time someone above you moves out.

Every ad is exclusive to the slot it is in. Yours will be the only ad displayed in a particular slot and will not be rotated with other ads. You get unlimited exposures every month! Ads will be displayed on every page-view generated in that section for the month.

There will never be more than 3 advertisers per section and your get unlimited exposure in that section!

Can I buy more than one block per page?

Yes you can! You can purchase 1, 2 or all 3 block spaces per section. Combine your blocks and put up a larger more effective block ad! See the examples on the right.

Banner Specifications

Black ads are 120x90 pixels and can only be in GIF, GIF89a or JPEG format. The maximum image size is 15Kb. Bear in mind that the larger the banner size in Kb, the slower it will load (1Kb = 1 second at 14.4 bps) and quick loading works to your advantage. Please note that we do not allow animations in the block ad space at this time. (This is different from standard banner ads and forum sponsorships)
